Lake JORdan cleanup
CLEANUP DATE FOR 2024 - May 11, 2024
Annual Cleanup held each April (May 2024 due to scheduling conflicts) at
Bonner's Landing Boat Ramp- Jordan Lake
The Annual Lake Jordan HOBO Lake Cleanup, along with other lakes in Alabama, have removed over 15 MILLION pounds of debris from Southern Company lakes since the project began in 1991.
Groups begin in their designated area to bring debris to Bonner's Point Lake Jordan. Lunch will be provided by our gracious volunteers and donation from Elmore County Commission. All participants will receive a free t-shirt provided by Alabama Power Company.
Those who wish to participate should bring chest waders if they own them, trash removal tools, buckets, etc. Smaller fishing boats and pontoon boats may be used.
